I no longer see Intel High Definition DSP, instead I have RealTek High Definition Audio (SST). ![]() I have done everything under the sun, gone so far to a partial, and a full computer reset. I no longer have any devices that are not recognized. From what I have noticed, when I do use the drivers provided by Acer for my model, my computer sees it as Intel High Definition DSP, under 'other components' and it says it is not compatible, nor installed and code 28. ![]() Driver Easy will automatically recognize your system and find the correct drivers for it. Once the PC had rebooted I checked the Device Manager. Method 1: Update Intel High Definition Audio Driver via Driver Easy Automatically If you don’t have the time, patience or computer skills to update the Intel High Definition Audio driver manually, you can do it automatically with Driver Easy. After reboot the installer continued and installed the driver. The Realtek installer first uninstalled the existing driver and required a reboot. ![]() I downloaded the file "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Intel® NUC Kits, Version: 6., Date: " and unzipped the file to a directory and ran the setup file. I tried the link again today for the audio driver and now it works ![]()
